Hello!
First, I want to talk about a little of my career. Actually I am in third year of Engineer Forestry in the University of Chile, a career relatively new into of all careers of my university, was created in 70´s from a inicative of a agronomy teacher. Since the creation, the study plan has been envolving with the advance of knowledge and social changes around the world. In this way the focus at begin was the production of wood without contemplate the nature like an everything, filled of interactions between the biotic and abiotic components. In the actually, the curriculum have subjects thar are interested in ecology, ecosysem services, comodities not only of wood but also of non-wood forestry products.
At this point, I would like clear out that I really like my career and the study program which includes subjects related to conservation and restoration of the enviroment affected by the climatic change because of the human activity. However, the global health situation has forced me to keep us at home, having all classes of a telematic way, that has caused postpone all practices including the summer ones. For this reason I think the university must create new instances for realize that outlets.
Other changes must include the actual contingency in redaction of Chilean constitution like enviromental policy and education of that. Also, subjects for the relationships between the communities and academicism.
